Crystal King was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is the second oldest of 4. Crystal attended Miami-Dade County Public schools and graduated from Miami Northwestern Sr. High in 2005. Crystal then furthered her education at Miami-Dade College and after obtaining her Associates degree, transferred to The University of Central Florida where she explored the field of Health Services Administration.
Crystal developed a love for helping and understanding others as a young adult while furthering her education which motivated her to seek employment in various educational, healthcare, and social services settings. Crystal later became the mother of her one and only child which inspired her to obtain her Master's Degree at Purdue University in Public Health.
Crystal did not allow her talents and generosity for others to stop at what she did for a living. While still employed, Crystal sought other opportunities throughout her community to make a difference in a child’s life and joined a team of individuals dedicated to being a part of positive changes at JDiva’s Dance Company as a mentor for young girls between the ages of 4 to 17. Crystal is now the Health and Human Services Case Manager and Counselor for Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services.
Crystal has maintained a dedicated approach in everything she does, and although there are obstacles that may get in the way of reaching her many goals, Crystal is known for taking on challenges and keeping a positive mindset. One of her favorite mottos are “Failure is not an Option” and she not only teaches this to those she encounters, but also lives by this in her day-to-day life.
