Tracy Scott

RN/Shelter Director

Tracy Scott is the Shelter Director at the Homestead Shelter and the Registered Nurse for Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services.  In this dual capacity, he proudly leads a strong team of 12 Youth Care Coordinators and 2 Healthcare Specialists.  Tracy has been with Miami Bridge for over six years and has led the Medical Department to unprecedented heights during his tenure.  Under his leadership, Miami Bridge has garnered statewide recognition and have been the recipient of prestigious awards from the Department of Juvenile Justice and the Florida Network. Honors include individual and team recognition such as Nurse of the Year and for having zero Medication Errors.  In addition to medical services, he is also responsible for overseeing program operations at the Homestead Shelter including implementing, evaluating, and managing program service delivery. As well as, demonstrating cultural competencies, and sensitivity to all service populations, employees, and stakeholders. Mr.  Scott holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Nursing Home Administration and an Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
